Talent Ecosystem

A "talent ecosystem" is a network of interconnected channels, platforms, and strategies that work together to identify, develop and utilize talent to meet the evolving needs of an organization. Strong talent ecosystems are agile, scalable, and diverse so that as an organization's talent needs change, the system can adapt to align and connect the business with the skills it needs to meet talent acquisition and business goals.

For example, many companies have networks of specialists, experts, contractors, or part-time employees who make up their ecosystem. This may also include alumni, people who work part-time, supply chain partners, as well as gig workers.

Today as alternative work arrangements continue to grow, developing a complete talent ecosystem is critical to growth, finding new skills, and filling part-time and often critical as-needed positions.
