NLP (Natural Language Processing)

“Natural language processing” (NLP) is a term used in technology solution design that incorporates AI. NLP is a subfield of linguistics, computer science, and AI that serves to facilitate the interaction between computers and human language. In its application, NLP refers to a technology program that has the ability to read and interpret text and speech in ways that mimic human understanding. In HR, this feature is often found in employee chatbots— employees can interact with a mobile app in a natural way, conversing by voice or text using human dialogue and free-flowing text, improving the experience.
