Human Resource Management System (HRMS)

The “HRMS” is the core HR system of record embedded within the HCM platform. It stores employee records, job titles and the company architecture, and typically has a feature called “position management” that lets the company define “positions” separate from “people.” It includes features for security, management approval, workflow management, and integrates with global payroll providers. Many HRMS vendors are payroll companies, but few payroll companies handle every global payroll requirement, so having multiple payroll providers is very common.
