Governance

“Governance” broadly refers to the mechanisms, structures, and processes through which an organization controls and directs itself. HR governance can be defined as the oversight and leadership of strategy, policy, and programs and is often considered a core part of the overall corporate governance of an enterprise. HR governance typically includes processes for measuring the effectiveness of the HR operating model, the employee services provided by HR and the management of the function as a whole.
