“ERGs” (employee resources groups), sometimes also known as “BRGs” (business resource groups) are groups of people with shared interests that work on social, political, or organizational topics. 

While many ERGs start out working on social events and connections, the most successful groups also work on organizational topics and business problems to inform company direction and support business strategy.
