Cost of Living Index
The "Cost of living index" (COLI) is a statistical tool used to compare the relative cost of living in different regions, countries, or geographic locations. The index is calculated by comparing the average expenses associated with various products and services, including housing, transportation, groceries, medical care, and other costs in different locations. A COLI of 100 represents the national average, with values above 100 indicating a higher cost of living and values below 100 indicating a lower cost of living compared to the national average.
