Agile HR

“Agile HR” refers to the use of agile methodology practices in the HR function. This includes managing projects in small cross-functional teams, using ideas like “sprints” and “stories” to design and prototype solutions, working directly with business users with “beta” releases and managing projects in small stages.

The Agile Manifesto, which details the principles of agile design in software, focuses on user empathy (studying user needs), collaboration (small teams working together), delivering small improvements steadily, and getting strong feedback from users during design. It also includes the idea of designing “service operations” during design, so the HR solutions being developed have support people in place for deployment.
