Learning Architecture

A “learning architecture” is a framework you develop which gives your organization guidelines for the use of different types of media and delivery options for different problems. It teaches employees how to look for training (introductory, mastery, certification) and lets your designers and AI tools focus on learning experiences that employees will understand.

One dimension is fidelity, and here is an example.

Level 1: Information and Q&A (chatbot)

Level 2: Skills-building (10 min videos)

Level 3: Mastery (cohort based, instructor led)

Level 4: Certified (face to face, preceptor based).
