July 2nd, 2020

There are many different ways to learn in the Josh Bersin Academy One place to engage with new learning content and have helpful discussions is the Resource Library. Right now, there are 300 Resources available to JBA members, and we add new ones each week. Here’s a summary of a few of the most popular Resources we published in June:

Managing Performance During Times of Crisis: There are a few things to consider as we rethink performance management right now. As HR professionals, many of us are wondering if it is fair to evaluate performance when each employee’s working situation is so vastly unique—or if it’s fair not to. In this video-based Resource, Josh shares his perspective on how we should view performance management (and communicate about it) during this time.

Uncovering “Hidden Gems”: No matter how well-tested and validated our talent evaluation process may be, there is always a chance that high-potential employees might fall through the cracks. This Resource explores why our organizations may have hidden gems and where (and why) they might be hiding.

Building Business Acumen for HRBPs: We can’t be strategic HR business partners without first understanding the business. In this video-based Resource, Naveen Bhateja, Chief People Officer at Medidata helps us understand the importance of taking the time to understand the business objectives of our colleagues and organizations, and offers tips on how to get started.

Top Ten High-Performance HR Practices: Though we can’t replicate success merely by emulating other companies, getting a look inside high-performance organizations can help us get a sense of our own progress. This Resource, based on research by Josh, highlights 10 practices of leading HR organizations.

This is just a quick summary of a few of the latest Resources in the JBA Resource Library. To dive into these Resources and to get access to our full Resource library, join the Josh Bersin Academy today.
